Philips SHD9100 Wifi Headphones

You folks over in the UK should soon be able to get hold of the latest WiFi headphones from Philips; the SHD9100. With around 6 hours of listening, these lightweight headphones come with breathable ear cushions and 3-way adjustment. They have a 40mm speaker driver and a range of around 40 meters.

There is also no need to worry about set up as the SHD9100 headphones feature automatic tuning and also features a low battery indication to give advance warning for when the headphones need to be recharged.

Microsoft Zune 2 Shrinks


Microsoft has unveiled the updated Zune Player. The Zune 2 will come in 4GB, 8GB (Flash versions) and an 80GB hard drive model. The 80GB version is only available in black, while the 4GB and 8GB versions will be available in black, red, pink, and green.

The new Zune's will allow users to sync their player to a computer over a home Wi-Fi network. But don’t worry if you already have a Zune as this feature will be available to you via a firmware upgrade.

Users who use Windows Media Center, Vista Home or Vista Ultimate can now sync PC-recorded TV content directly to your Zune.

Lets see how these now compete with the obvious new generation of iPod Nano and iPod Classic.

The new Zube 2 players should be out in November, priced at $149, $199, and $249, respectively

Pentax Introduces the 12MP Optio A40 and the 8MP Optio V10


Pentax have just announced their Optio A40 that features 12 megapixels as well as, three types of Shake Reduction including mechanical, digital and movie. The Optio A40 also features the newest Face Recognition technology including a Natural Skin Tone mode and a Half-length Portrait mode, which automatically takes a head and shoulder photograph of subjects.

Also just announced is the Optio V10, which is an ultra-slim compact digital camera with a 3.0 inch LCD. The Optio V10 features 8 megapixels, a 3X optical zoom and easy operations in a slim, stylish, affordable body.

The Optio A40 will be available in October 2007 for around $299.95 and the Optio V10 in November for around $249.95.
