The long awaited news from Apple regarding its new operating system has been released. The Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard will begin shipping on October 26.
The minimum specs to run Leopard are:
Intel, PowerPC G5, or PowerPC G4 (867MHz or faster) processor
512MB of physical RAM
DVD drive for installation
You can pre-order your copy of either the single or ‘Family Pack’ license now.
$129 for single user license or $109 via Amazon
$199 for the 5 license “Family Pack” or $189 via Amazon

Google Analytics Gets New Features
If you have Google Analytics then watch out for some new features coming to your account soon:
Site search tracking - will allow you to find out what people search for and where the searches lead them.
Event Tracking capability - reports that are designed to help you understand how people use and interact with Ajax, Flash and multimedia on your site
Outbound Link Tracking - will give you information on links visitors clicked on within your site that direct them to another site
The last two will be in a limited beta test, so you may or may not see these.

WebsiteGrader - Grades Your Website
Here is an interesting site for any one who owns or is involved with designing or maintaining a website; WebsiteGrader as the name suggests will grade your website for basic Search Engine Optimization. The site is free and you can even compare your site with that of a competitor. PC Mag has just rated it in their 'Top 100 Undiscovered Websites'.
Just enter your URL, some keywords (optional) and the URL of a competitor and the site will produce a report detailing:
Website Grade
Google Page Rank
Alexa Rank
Technorati Rank
Google Inbound Links
Yahoo Inbound Links
Delicious Saved Count
Google Indexed Pages
Digg summary
The report summarizes your webpage structure and highlights missing elements, such as; keywords not found, description missing etc…
You can even access the report later via a link that is emailed to you.

FotoFlexer for Online Photo Manipulation
For those of you that do not have access to image editing software like Photoshop; online photo editors are an option. With Adobe allegedly releasing an online version of Photoshop some time in the near future; here is one that might just keep you going until then. FotoFlexer have just re-launched their site with a new look and new tools.
With FotoFlexer you can access your webcam directly and it will also integrate with sites like Flickr, Picasa and MySpace. The software appears to be easy to use; just upload (or grab) a photo and start editing. The software allows you to change the size of body parts, will create cartoons and various other manipulations.
