iPod Touch Unvailed For Real

The iPhone Touch speaks for itself. It was a real ‘no brainer’ that Apple would follow up the success of the iPhone with a similar styled music player; and the iPod Touch is that player.

The Touch comes with the same sized screen as the iPhone, but is 8mm thinner. The Touch includes the same multi touch interface that allows you to flick through photos, albums and it also comes wifi ready; so you can download music from the new wifi iTunes.

Unfortunately, the iPod Touch will only ship with either 8GB or 16GB of memory (I’m sure most people were hoping for more). You will also need to find those free wifi spots if you don’t want to pay for accessing the net.

The Specs are:
3.5-inch (diagonal) widescreen multi-touch display
480-by-320-pixel resolution at 163 pixels per inch
8GB or 16GB flash drive1
Holds up to 1,750 or 3,500 songs in 128-Kbps AAC format
Holds up to 10,000 or 20,000 iPod-viewable photos
Holds up to 10 hours or 20 hours of video
Wi-Fi (802.11b/g)

The 8GB iPod Touch will retail for $299 and 16GB for $399. Both should be available in a few weeks.
