Logitech Pure-Fi Anywhere iPod Speaker System


Logitech today announced their Pure-Fi Anywhere speakers for the iPod. The Pure-Fi is a follow up to the mm50 portable speaker system and offers a rechargeable battery with battery-life indicator and an advanced remote with one-touch Shuffle and Repeat functions.

Some specs:
Rechargeable battery gives you 10 hours per charge
Simultaneously charge and play your iPod
Protective travel case with iPod Nano holder
Integrated cable management system on the power adaptor
Wireless remote control that offers direct navigation of iPod menus from a distance of 20 feet
Available colors - glossy white with silver grilles or piano-black with black grilles
1.6 pounds and 3.6 inches by 13.2 inches by 1.5 inches
Dual 2-inch Max-X™, high-excursion drivers with neodymium magnets
3-inch pressure drivers maximize bass response
Supports all iPod® models with dock connector (including iPod nano and iPod® with video)
Supports 1G and 3G iPod® models (and other portable music players) via 3.5mm auxiliary input


The Logitech Pure-Fi Anywhere speakers are expected to be available in the U.S. and Europe beginning in September. The suggested retail price is $149.99.

Bought this system and it lasted3 days. Power cuts off and the battery doesn't charge. Logitech is supposed to send a replacement. Stay tuned.
