Can You Hear Me Now?

According to the BBC news site, a British climber is attempting to make the worlds highest mobile phone call.
Rod Baber is making final preparations to climb to the top of Mount Everest and make the call from its north ridge. The attempt will begin its final climb on 15 May and hope to reach the summit about eight days later.

Calls from the top of Everest are now possible as a base station installed in nearby China has line-of-sight to the north ridge of the mountain. Phone reception has also improved as the Chinese army is also at the Everest base camp making preparations to take the Olympic torch to the summit.

Looking at the picture, is it possible he will make the call with a Motorola?
