Asus joins the ranks of the Apple MacBook and Sony Vaio CZ with their new Asus U3. This sleek looking 13.3 inch laptop comes in at around 3.9 lbs and comes in a black piano finish.
The Asus U3 includes Intel Turbo Memory, 3G wireless and a fingerprint scanner. Running on the latest Inet Core 2 Duo processors and Intel’s GM965 chipset, the U3 includes Nvidias 128MB Geforce 8400 graphics card. To burn or read discs, you have to utilize the included external drive.
The system also includes ports for, eSATA, HDMI, GPS RF in, USB, Firewire, VGA/D-Sub, and TV out, and a built-in 1.3 megapixel webcam.
The Asus U3 should be available soon and should cost around $2000
